Frequently asked questions (high school and middle school)
Do I have to pay the Tier I registration fee of $75.00 (all sports) or the Tier II participation fee $50.00-middle school (includes the wellness program in the middle school-flag football, yoga, floor hockey, lacrosse, skateboarding, etc.); $75.00-high school (all activity fees), for my child to participate?
YES. Wellness activities in the middle school are very similar to intramurals, the activities are non-competitive activities that provide exercise and fun. The wellness activities fall under the Tier II participation fee of $50. The $75.00 athletic registration fee includes all sports which fall under Tier I and compete against other high school and middle school teams. The Tier II fee of $75.00 includes all high school activities, clubs, and non-curricular organizations
Can I pay the athletic registration fee prior to my son/daughter being cleared by the nurse and athletic trainer?
Upon clearance an athlete, a letter (Sports Approval Notification) will be sent home with an attached voucher for the payment. The registration fee should be attached to the voucher when it is turned in for payment.
Where do I drop off the payment?
The suggested drop off place is the district athletic office located in the high school. The main office in the high school and middle school will accept payment also. Payment should not be made directly to a teacher or coach.
Do I separate the physical form from the parent permission forms before submitting to the office(s)?
NO. Keep all papers together.
Can I pay in advance for future seasons?
Although we will accept all checks when they come in, for bookkeeping purposes it is advisable to send in the athletic registration fee prior to each season. The start dates for each season collection are as follows:
Fall: June 1
Winter: Oct. 11
Spring: Feb. 2
