CONGRATULATIONS…to the Girls Track and Field team for finishing 4th over all in the Group 3 State Championship this past weekend. With individual stellar performances, three of our young ladies came out with a state individual title. Taylor Johnson had a personal best throw of 139ft 5in in the discus for her second state title in this event in two years. Heather Jurhring who had a throw of 136ft 9in in the javelin and Jasmine Waddell with a school record run of 14.05 seconds in the 100 meter high hurdles in which both secured their first state championship victory. Also with a 4th place finish and a school record in the pole vault was Elissa Ingram with a leap of 10ft 6in and Liz Faulkner with a 6th place finish in the discus with a throw of 114ft 8in. These five young woman qualified for the meet of champions this Thursday in Old Bridge, NJ.

CONGRATULATIONS… Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team for the victory over Highland. The Lady Dragons defeated Highland 123-17. Performers of the meet were Jasmine Childress for clearing 4ft. 8in. and Kelliann Burns for her dominating performance in the 400 intermediate hurdles in a time of 1:12.
